President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to attend opening ceremony of "Sharq Taronalari" International Music Festival in Samarkand
On Monday evening, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Samarkand to participate in the grand opening ceremony of the "Sharq Taronalari" International Music Festival.
According to a statement from the president's press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Samarkand on August 26.
The president will attend the opening ceremony of the 13th "Sharq Taronalari" International Music Festival.
The festival will take place from August 26 to 30, under the patronage of UNESCO, in Registan Square. It is expected to host over 300 participants from nearly 70 countries, including artists, scholars, and industry experts.
The festival, which has been held in Samarkand since 1997, was last held in 2019. According to the Ministry of Culture, it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
