World Boxing Championships 2019 Final: Shahobiddin Zoirov, Miraziz Mirzahalilov win gold
The World Boxing Championships final matches are taking place today, September 21, in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Shahobiddin Zoirov, the representative of Uzbekistan in the weight category 52 kg, defeated Amit Panghal of India.
He was the active one of the two throughout the bout. Thus, won the match by a unanimous decision of the judges.
Another representative of Uzbekistan Miraziz Mirzahalilov faced Lazaro Estrada from Cuba. The temp of the bout was high.
As Estrada had a cut over his eye, the match had to be stopped ahead of time in Round 2. By a split decision of the judges Mirzahalilov was announced the winner of the bout.
