Plane flying from St. Petersburg to Uzbekistan urgently landed in Samara
On Monday, an airplane flying from St. Petersburg to Namangan made an emergency landing at the Samara airport due to poor health of a passenger – a citizen of Uzbekistan.
As RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Kuybyshev transport prosecutor’s office, the flight U6 2509 en route St. Petersburg – Namangan made an emergency landing at the Kurumoch International Airport.
“The reason for the forced landing is the poor health of a woman on board – a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, born in 1988, with hypertension,” the agency’s representative said.
According to the prosecutor's office, the passenger, who felt unwell, was provided the necessary medical care and was promptly hospitalized in one of the city hospitals.
The plane, having made an emergency landing, flew to its destination.
