Deputy Prime Minister Elyor Ganiev to visit Georgia
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev will visit Georgia. This was announced by the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov at a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to our country Huseyn Guliev.
Kamilov said that the regional transit center has become more comfortable thanks to the large-scale infrastructure projects implemented by Azerbaijan, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project, launched in 2017, has become the shortest, safest and the most cost-effective link between Europe and Asia. He expressed hope that this huge contribution will help strengthen transportation services in the Eurasian region.
The minister noted that the use of transit opportunities provided by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will encourage economic cooperation between the two countries.
Elyor Ganiyev, in the near future, will visit Georgia to study the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project and the use of transit opportunities by Georgia.
