Malaysian company to invest $2 million to introduce wireless Internet in Khiva
In the Khorezm region, the first Malaysian Internet service provider has appeared, Spot writes with reference to Dunyo information agency.
As part of the Digitalizing Khiva City project, Hadid Kazanakh (a subsidiary of Malaysian Hadid Engineering) will introduce high-speed wireless Internet in Khiva. The total project cost is estimated at $2 million.
Hadid Kazanakh was established in January 2019 in Tashkent to implement investment projects. The representative office of the Malaysian company also began its activities in Khorezm, including in cooperation with the largest Internet provider in Malaysia - TM Global in the field of telecommunications services.
Hadid Kazanakh is considering the possibility of implementing similar projects in other regions of Uzbekistan by attracting direct investment from Hadid Engineering.
Hadid Engineering provides engineering and telecommunication services, construction of large residential, commercial and industrial facilities, including for the oil and gas, petrochemical industries, as well as the energy sector.
