Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkey discuss strengthening strategic partnership
On October 13, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is on a visit in Baku to attend the 7th meeting of the CTSS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the MFA press service said.
During the meeting, the ministers exchanged congratulations on participation of Uzbekistan in the Turkic Council and expressed confidence that this would significantly increase the potential of multilateral cooperation within the organization.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey, and prospects for its development in certain areas.
The sides confirmed their interest in further strengthening multifaceted cooperation both bilaterally and within the Turkic Council.
