Denmark appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
On October 22, 2019, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark with a residence in Moscow, Karsten Sendergord, the ministerial press service reports.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him fruitful work.
During the conversation, the parties discussed priorities of further development of bilateral ties in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other fields, cooperation within international organizations were also considered.
In this context, the importance of holding inter-MFA political consultations with a broad agenda on a regular basis was noted. It was emphasized that this format allows to identify promising areas of interaction and focus on them.
The parties also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of the upcoming events between Uzbekistan and Denmark.
