The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On additional measures for development of national content in the worldwide Internet information network”.
According to the Agency for Information and Mass Communications, a number of new projects will be implemented, such as increasing the number of national web resources and the amount of information about Uzbekistan in the Wikipedia Internet encyclopedia, developing national library information channels in instant messengers, and organizing web portals containing samples of Uzbek literature and art.
In addition, it is envisaged to expand the provision of archival services for individuals and legal entities, create a collection of objects of cultural and historical heritage in 3D format, enrich the content of state websites and ensure constant coverage of ongoing events and activities.
Also, special attention will be paid to the creation of new web resources aimed at highlighting the level of education, intellectual potential of citizens, expanding their horizons, informing people about the news of culture, science, history and art.
