Employees of the Agrobank’s Turakurgan branch misappropriated nearly 100 million soums, vkratce.uz writes.
According to the source, the department head of the branch, together with the head of LLC “Turakurgan” embezzled money in the amount of 99.2 million soums.
The funds were allotted to four citizens for constructing a greenhouse.
As noted, a criminal case has been instigated against the offenders under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
Currently, investigations are underway.
