Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan discuss strengthening bilateral relations

On October 28, 2019, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Yazguly Mammedov, the MFA press service reported.

During the conversation, topical issues of bilateral relations were discussed.

The parties considered cooperation within the framework of regional organizations.

It should be noted that trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan increased by 70 percent in 2018. This indicator is expected to further improve by the end of 2019.
