Employee of cadaster in Altiarik district detained for demanding $30,000 from a citizen

In Altiarik, a specialist in Land formation and Real Estate Cadaster requested $30,000 from a citizen. The head of the department of public relations and legal information of the Prosecutor General’s Office Khayot Shamsutdinov told Kun.uz.

It was noted that the Fergana Regional Department, jointly with employees of the Regional SSS office, held an operational event.

Reportedly, a specialist of the Altiarik district branch of the SUE “Yer tuzish va kuchmas mulk kadastri” (“Cadaster of land formation and real estate”) E. M. and others in conspiracy promised citizens O. N. and F.T. that 5 hectares of land belonging to the farm “M” would be allocated for O. N. for gardening purposes. In exchange, they demanded $30,000 to get the district khokim’s resolution issued. The fraudsters were detained while receiving $22,000 and 28.5 million soums in bribe.

On the fact of unlawful activity, a criminal case was initiated against the specialist of the Altiarik district branch of the SUE “Yer tuzish va kuchmas mulk kadastri” E. M. and others under articles 168, 28 and 211 of the Criminal Code.
