CICA Executive Director praises initiatives put forward by Mirziyoyev to jointly counteract radicalization of youth

On November 4, 2019, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with the Executive Director of the CICA Secretariat Khabibullo Mirzozoda, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the regular meeting of the SCO Council of Government Heads.

During the conversation, a wide range of issues related to the interaction of Uzbekistan and the CICA was discussed.

Khabibullo Mirzozoda praised the participation of the Uzbek delegation in the Summit of the CICA Heads of State on June 15 this year in Dushanbe and the initiatives put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to jointly counteract the radicalization of youth and establish dialogue in the field of interreligious interaction.

The proposal of Uzbekistan on coordination within the framework of the CICA in scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres was highlighted.
