Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan hold a next meeting in Turkmenabad to define the state border
On November 6-12, 2019, working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on the Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Border held the next round of their regular meeting in Turkmenabad (Turkmenistan).
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the issues of defining the demarcation line between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Conducting aerial photography of the territory was also considered at the meeting.
A draft schedule of talks of the working groups for 2020 was prepared during the negotiations in Turkmenabad.
Following the meeting, the heads of delegations Tulkin Abdullayev (Uzbekistan) and Mamed Mamedov (Turkmenistan) signed the Protocol of the meeting.
