Epsilon jointly with Uzbekneftegaz commences construction of pipelines for transporting gas
The total length of new single-line gas pipelines is 354 km; four lines will be built.
Construction of two double-line gas pipelines began on November 9 - from Nazarkuduk assembly point to head facilities of Shurtanneftegaz (67 km), and from the deposits of Chigil group to Mubarek gas processing plant (110 km). To date, 24 km of pipes are ready for laying, 7.7 km are welded, and 70 thousand tons of tubular products (43.5 km) were shipped.
All works will be completed this December enabling additional transportation of up to 50 million cubic meters of gas per day for processing in an effort to supply the population and meet the domestic market’s demand during the autumn-winter period.
Epsilon will continue informing readers about the progress of construction.
