Mirziyoyev appoints 28-year-old scientist as Deputy Minister of Innovative Development

In accordance with the presidential decree, Olimjon Tuychiev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Innovative Development.

Prior to his appointment, Tuychiev worked as the head of the department at the Ministry of Innovative Development and the director of a specialized state general education boarding school named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

Olimjon Tuychiev was born in 1991. In 2015, he graduated from Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, in 2016-2017 he studied at the University of Hohenheim (Germany).

In 2013, Tuychiev was awarded with Shuhrat medal for achievements in science and the promotion of technical sciences among young people. In particular, he created the first robot with remote control that performs various tasks and understands the Uzbek language.

In 2017, Olimjon Tuychiev was appointed deputy director of the Science and Technology Agency.
