MMA: Umar Nurmagomedov’s fight with Nikita Chistyakov in Tashkent cancelled
Russian mixed martial artist Nikita Chistyakov will not be able to fight against Umar Nurmagomedov due to health problems. This was reported by his manager Alexander Skaredin.
“Nikita Chistyakov will not be able to fight with Umar Nurmagomedov because of health problems. Nikita suffered from epidemic conjunctivitis in Thailand, like many other fighters who trained there,” RIA Novosti quotes Skaredin as saying.
The fight was scheduled for November 23 in Tashkent as part of the first ever MMA tournament in the capital city of Uzbekistan.
Umar Nurmagomedov is a cousin of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
