Uzbekistan, India discuss ways to rebuild infrastructure in Afghanistan
In Delhi, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held talks with the Deputy Advisor to the Prime Minister of India for National Security Pankaj Saran, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijay Thakur Singh, as well as the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Deepak Mittal.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the efforts of the two countries to peacefully resolve the Afghan crisis, ways to restore the socio-economic infrastructure of Afghanistan, as well as the implementation of various projects in this country, the MFA press service said.
The parties paid special attention to the issue of training national personnel for Afghanistan at the Educational Center for the training of Afghan citizens in Termez.
The Indian side expressed its readiness to consider the organization of short-term courses at the Center for the specialties that are most in demand in Afghanistan.
