UzLiDeP leadership believes that social allowances make citizens lazy
Today, December 16, a press conference was held at the CEC international press center with the participation of representatives from political parties.
During the event, the head of the UzLiDeP political council Bakhtiyor Rukhiddinov expressed his opinion on social benefits.
“Allowances for low-income families have made many people lazy. They live a poor life without working anywhere,” he said.
Bakhtiyor Rukhiddinov also said that one of the main tasks of UzLiDeP is to accelerate the state program “Every family - entrepreneur” and create high-paying jobs for citizens.
The average monthly total income per family member is defined as the sum of the average monthly income of each able-bodied family member, calculated over the last 3 months preceding the month of applying for benefits, divided by the number of family members. In this case, income in the form of remuneration is recorded at the accrued amount.
It should be recalled that at the beginning of 2019, UNICEF reported that in Uzbekistan, only 17% of families receive childcare benefits. Representatives of the organization noted that children and youth make up almost 60% of the country’s population.
