At the Media Hall of the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan, a meeting of the debate club “New Uzbekistan – new elections” took place.
During the event, Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojonov provided further information on the Jasliq prison, located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
“It is well known that the notorious Jasliq prison has been closed. As of today, all prisoners (361 convicts) of the colony have been transferred to other penal institutions. All facilities have been provided for these prisoners. Transfer of the Jasliq prison to other organizations will be decided soon,” Pulat Bobojonov said.
