The passenger, because of whom the Moscow-Tashkent plane was forced to return to Vnukovo airport tonight, died, “MK” writes citing a source in law enforcement bodies as saying.
Attempts by our editorial office to receive official comments from the National Airline were in vain.
“At about 1 a.m., information was received that the plane, flying from Vnukovo airport to the capital of Uzbekistan, was forced to return to the airport due to poor health of a passenger, a 50-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan. At 1:10, the plane landed, but the doctors failed to save the man’s life,” the report says.
Earlier, the Uzbekistan Airways reported about a delay of the current flight.
“We inform you that the commander of the Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-602 (Moscow - Tashkent) decided to return to Vnukovo airport due to the deterioration in the health of one of the passengers. The plane landed safely at 01:10, the passenger is provided with the necessary assistance. The next flight to the destination airport is scheduled for 03:30 Moscow time. Arrival in Tashkent - around at 09:00 (local time),” the company said.
