Foreign Ministry tells about the program of Russian FM Lavrov’s visit to Uzbekistan
On January 12-13, the Russian Federation’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Uzbekistan on an official visit, the press service of the Uzbek MFA said.
It is expected that Lavrov will be received by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The program of the visit provides for bilateral negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, a visit to the branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) in Tashkent.
During the upcoming negotiations, a wide range of issues of bilateral political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation will be discussed. It is also planned to sign a cooperation program between the foreign ministries for 2020-2021.
