New Consul General of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg appointed

Uzbekistan has appointed new Consul General to Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Alisher Babayev has taken this post.

Prior to Babayev, Zafar Abdurakhmanov served as Uzbekistan’s Consul General in Saint Petersburg.

It should be noted that the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the Northern capital of Russia was opened in March 2018.
