Central Bank announces new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has established new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, which will be effective from January 7 this year.

According to the Central Bank, starting from tomorrow, the US dollar increases in value by 0.33 soums and amounts to 9,507.89 soums.

The Euro, in the meantime, drops by 15.80 soums. Thus, 1 Euro becomes equal to 10,608.90 soums.

The Russian ruble shows a slight increase - by 0.26 soums, and reaches the mark of 153.43 soums.

It should be noted that the Central Bank does not take any obligation to purchase or sell foreign currencies at the rates set.
