Draft presidential decree “On joining an international agreement” has been placed on the portal for discussing draft-normative legal acts.
According to the document, Uzbekistan plans to join the Convention on Nuclear Safety (Vienna, June 17, 1994).
The State Committee of Industrial Safety shall be designated as the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall send a corresponding notification to the depositary about accreditation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the international agreement and the authorized body responsible for its implementation.
After the entry into force of this international agreement, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan and heads of relevant ministries and agencies shall ensure control over the implementation of its provisions.
