KOFIH to fund creation of children’s center in Tashkent
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade with the delegation of Yonsei University (South Korea) and the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH).
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the implementation of the project to create a children’s multidisciplinary center in Tashkent, as well as the possibility of extending the Memorandum between KOFIH and the Health Ministry of Uzbekistan on cooperation within the framework of a training program for the staff of the center.
Under these agreements, the development and implementation of the “electronic medical records” module of the center’s information system and others with the assistance of KOFIH grant funds are envisaged.
In addition, the prospects of cooperation within the framework of the project to create a multidisciplinary clinic in the Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan were discussed, in connection with which the Korean partners were sent the concept of the clinic with a description of the main goals and objectives, the financial plan in various scenarios taking into account the attraction of both the capital of the Korean side and the funds of the Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Human Security for the Aral Sea region under the auspices of the UN.
