Citizens of Uzbekistan arriving from China recommended to immediately consult with doctors
Citizens of Uzbekistan, who returned from Wuhan, China in January, are recommended to immediately contact the Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing Agency under the Health Ministry of Uzbekistan, the MFA press service reports.
On January 25, due to an outbreak of coronavirus, the PRC authorities introduced the highest level of emergency in 25 provinces, cities of central subordination and special administrative regions of the country, where over 1.2 billion people live.
Special quarantine measures have been introduced in more than 15 cities in the Hubei Province: transport is temporarily stopped, stations and airports do not operate. In Beijing, where more than 30 cases of infection have been detected, most of the sights, theaters and museums are closed.
The embassy recommends that citizens of Uzbekistan, who are in the PRC or intending to visit the country for tourism and other purposes, take into account all the risks and take all precautions.
“The embassy strongly recommends that Uzbek students returning to their homeland from Wuhan in January immediately contact the Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing Agency under the Health Ministry at: +998909882330 (deputy director B. Kurbanov), +998972755074 (chief specialist F. Kurbanbekov),” the report said.
