Komil Allamjonov and Saida Mirziyoyeva start a job at a public fund

Founders of the public fund for supporting and developing national media held a meeting on January 31 in Tashkent.

According to the press service of the fund, the composition of the board of trustees was formed at the meeting.

By a decision adopted under the charter of the fund, Komil Allamjonov was elected chairman of the board of trustees, and Saida Mirziyoyeva - his deputy.

Komil Allamjonov and Saida Mirziyoyeva left leadership positions at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications on January 29.

The main goal of the public fund for supporting and developing national mass media is to improve the media, ensure the rights of journalists and bloggers, strengthen the role of public institutions in guaranteeing freedom of speech in the country, endorse further improvement of the country’s image and others.
