New road signs installed in Tashkent
Two new road signs have been installed in various parts of Tashkent (One of them is for pedestrians).
According to a study conducted by the Traffic Safety Administration of the Tashkent City Police Department, most of violations are committed by pedestrians, whose neglect of road safety causes the majority of traffic accidents.
Because pedestrians are used to crossing the roads anywhere they want. To prevent this, the Tashkent Department of Traffic Safety has introduced a new road sign, specially created for pedestrians (3.10. “No pedestrians”).
The sign has been installed near the underground passage on Sultoniya Street in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district and underground passage at Yunusabad bazaar and at the intersection of Beruniy and Saqichsimon streets (opposite to Chorsu bazaar) in the Shaykhantahur district.
It is noted that in these areas pedestrians violate rules more often than in other places, so the purpose of installing these signs here is to reduce the number of traffic accidents and ensure public safety in these places.

The 1.32 “Congestion” sign has been installed at the intersection of Amir Temur and Osiyo streets in the Yunusabad district.
This sign shall be used temporarily (may change with time), in places where it is possible to bypass the area with traffic.
Drivers will be alerted of traffic ahead when they see the sign and may change their route if possible.
