Train begins test run on the extended Yunusabad metro line
In the Tashkent metro, a test run was launched from the existing “Shakhristan” station to the new “Turkistan” station, the press service of Uzbekistan Railways reported.
The launch of the train confirms the readiness of upper track of the new extended line in this section.
The final construction and installation work is underway at the “Turkistan” station. The next step will be the laying of the line to the “Yunusabad” station and obtaining a conclusion on the compliance of the facilities with the requirements of technical regulations and design documentation. This will be followed by the commissioning of an extended line and two new stations.
Construction objects will be commissioned in accordance with the project implementation schedule, construction standards and technical requirements.
