Ufa FC signs a long-term contract with 19-year-old Uzbek player

“Ufa Football Club has signed a long-term contract with 19-year-old midfielder of the Uzbekistan national football team Oston Urunov”, club’s website announced.

Oston Urunov was trained in the football club Navoi and Tashkent’s Pakhtakor. In 2017, he became a player of the Navbahor club. He played for this team until 2019, scoring 3 goals in 51 matches. In July 2019, he joined Tashkent’s Lokomotiv, for which he played 13 matches in the Uzbekistan championship and scored a single goal.

Urunov was recognized as the best young player of the Uzbekistan Super League in the 2018 season.

He was several times invited to the youth teams of Uzbekistan on different age groups and the national youth team. In the summer of 2019, Urunov made his debut in the national team of Uzbekistan.
