Court announces next verdict against “Akhmadboy”
According to a Kun.uz correspondent, the court found Akhmadjon Tursunboyev, widely known as Akhmadboy, guilty of an offense under paragraphs a, b, part 3, Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code and sentenced him to 9 years of imprisonment.
In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 59 and Article 61 of the Criminal Code, taking into account the partial addition of the sentence imposed by the Tashkent Regional Criminal Court on October 28, 2019, Akhmadjon Tursunboyev was sentenced to 14 years and 4 months of imprisonment with the deprivation of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activity for a period of 1 year.

However, in accordance with subparagraph “b”, paragraph 6 of the Senate’s resolution “On Amnesty in connection with the twenty-fourth anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution”, signed on October 12, 2016, the length of imprisonment was shortened by one fourth.
