Procedure for amending cargo customs declaration simplified
Recently, the Ministry of Justice registered a resolution “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for amending, making additions, re-issuing, recalling and canceling a cargo customs declaration”.
According to the document, now amendments and additions to the cargo customs declaration (CCD) will be carried out by means of a separate, relatively simplified electronic form for filling out the cargo customs declaration. This, in turn, exempts participants in foreign economic activity from the obligation to fill out and submit a new customs declaration for amendments to only one column of the customs declaration.
In addition, an information exchange system is being introduced between the declarant and the customs authorities. Additional documents are submitted and accepted through it.
The document also establishes the procedure for amending and (or) supplementing the customs value declaration, filling out the form for amending the cargo customs declaration, submitting it to the customs authorities, processing, amending and (or) supplementing it.
It should be noted that the decision takes effect after three months from the date of its official publication.
