In Jizzakh region, winter training camp “Mountain guard” was organized for departments of the Defense Ministry, the National Guard and the SSS Border Troops of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.
In the camp for mountain training under the Ministry of Defense, military personnel, mountain training specialists of all power structures that are part of the Armed Forces underwent advanced training. In particular, for the relevant specialists of the Defense Ministry, the National Guard and the SSS Border Troops, winter training camp “Mountain Guard” was organized at the Forish military training camp.
Classes during training courses were conducted by experienced military personnel of the Defense Ministry.
Within the framework of the training courses, military personnel in real mountain conditions practically worked out modern techniques and methods of climbing a mountain using different equipment, overcoming mountain gorges and various obstacles, providing medical assistance to the wounded and organizing their evacuation.
