Senate approves “Mahalla system workers’ day”

The law was developed in accordance with the presidential decree of February 18, 2020 “On measures to improve the social and spiritual atmosphere in society, further support of the mahalla institute, as well as raising the system of work with families and women to a new level”.

According to the law, March 22 is determined as the Day of Mahalla System Workers. Speakers emphasized that the role of the mahalla institution is great in ensuring peace and the rule of law, improving the social and spiritual atmosphere in society. The activity of workers of the mahalla system in society is important in further enhancing the status of this unique institution, which is closely connected with the rich history of Uzbekistan. The law has been approved by senators.
