Amount of fines for violating wedding orders approved
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Law “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The document has introduced appropriate amendments and additions to a number of laws and codes. In particular, the Administrative Responsibility Code is supplemented by an article providing for liability for non-compliance with the requirements of conducting weddings, family celebrations, ceremonies and rituals.
According to the introduced amendments, non-compliance by a person conducting weddings, family celebrations, ceremonies and rituals with the requirements of holding such events entails a fine in the amount of 10 BCA (2,230,000 soums).
Also, owners of wedding houses, cafes and restaurants, who do not comply with the requirements set, shall be sanctioned by a fine in the amount of 30 BCA (6,690,000 soums).
Owners of wedding houses, cafes and restaurants repeating the same offense within a year after the application of the administrative penalty shall pay a fine in the amount of 50 BCA (11,150,000 soums).
