The total number of coronavirus patients has reached 55.

To date, the number of coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan has increased by 5 people, bringing the total number to 55, the Ministry of Health reported.
The first case in Uzbekistan was registered on March 15 in a citizen who arrived from Paris.
The virus was later detected in passengers, who arrived from London, Istanbul, Dubai and Moscow and in people, who were in contact with them. On March 22, a patient, who had returned from Switzerland, also joined the list.
According to the ministry, 30 of those infected with coronavirus have been abroad. 19 civilians were in close contact with them and became infected with COVID-19. It is currently being identified under what circumstances a 20-year-old citizen got infected with the disease.
