Uzbekistan is not planning to declare state of emergency due to coronavirus
A statement of the Special Commission for combating the spread of coronavirus in the country has been published.
Rumors about the introduction of a state of emergency in Uzbekistan are unfounded.
According to the Telegram channel @koronavirusinfouz, which is currently the major source of information about coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan, rumors about declaring a state of emergency in the country are groundless. The government is not working on such a document.
It should be reminded that in accordance with the Administrative Responsibility Code of Uzbekistan, there is a strict penalty for the dissemination of false information.
