A citizen of Uzbekistan dies of coronavirus in New York
On April 6, a citizen of Uzbekistan R.Kh. (Born in 1969) died in a clinic in New York as a result of health deterioration which was caused by coronavirus infection, the MFA press service reported.

According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, on March 22, R.Kh. experienced first symptoms of the disease, in connection with a sharp deterioration in his health, on April 2 he was hospitalized and connected to a ventilator and was since in a state of medically induced coma.
Currently, the Consulate General, together with the leaders and activists of diaspora organizations, are resolving organizational issues related to his funeral.
Earlier it was reported that two citizens of Uzbekistan died in local hospitals in the United States as a result of infection with coronavirus.
