Coronavirus cases top 1,400 in Uzbekistan

"As of 23:00, April 17, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 1,405," the statement of the ministry reads.

So far, 156 patients have completely recovered from the disease and were sent to the rehabilitation center, four people died.

It should be noted that to fight the economic effects of the pandemic, Uzbekistan is attracting foreign debts in the amount of $1 billion, the first tranche of which will be transferred by the end of this month.
