National Mass Media Fund to provide financial assistance worth 150 million soums to honorary journalists
The Fund will provide financial assistance worth a total of 150 million soums to those who are listed in two stages.
Komil Allamjonov, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for Supporting and Developing National Mass Media, said that a list of 100 representatives of journalism and telecommunications has been formed, continuing the project #xavfsizyordam.
“The list includes veterans, who have worked in the field of journalism for many years, as well as journalists, who are undergoing treatment to restore their health and need social protection for various family reasons. Relevant organizations and groups of journalists on social networks closely assisted in compiling the list,” the report said.
It was noted that the Fund will provide financial assistance worth a total of 150 million soums to those who are listed in two stages. In the first stage, the delivery of food packages to their homes has begun, and in the next stage, each of them will be provided with a special bank card with 1 million soums in it.
“We consider it our duty to do everything possible to support our colleagues in need of financial assistance in these difficult days,” wrote Komil Allamjonov.
