SSC provides information about market price for foodstuffs
The State Statistics Committee (SSC) provided information on market prices for certain types of food products.
The committee conducted an observation on April 28, 2020 in the central dehkan markets in the regions of the country, citing the lowest and highest prices for certain types of food products.
Beef (excluding boneless meat) ranges in price from 37,000 to 60,000 soums (per kg).
According to the results of the observation, the lowesr price for 1 kg of beef (excluding boneless meat) was recorded in the “Dehkan market” in Nukus, the highest – in the “Dehkan market” in Chirchik, the “Oloy dehkan market” and “Mirabad dehkan market” in Tashkent.
Mutton ranges in price from 39,000 to 75,000 soums (per kg).
The lowest price for mutton was registered in the “Kuylyuk dehkan market” and “Mirabad dehkan market” in Tashkent, the highest – in the “Oloy dehkan market” in Tashkent.
Potatoes range in price from 2,500 soums to 8,000 soums (per kg).
The lowest price for potatoes was recorded in the “Central dehkan market” in Fergana, the highest – in the “Eski juva dehkan market” and “Mirabad dehkan market” in Tashkent.
Onions range in price from 1,200 to 4,500 soums (kg).
The lowest price for onion products was recorded in the “Central dehkan foodstuff market” in Termez, highest – in “Eski juva dehkan market” in Tashkent.
Carrots range in price from 1,000 to 8,000 soums (kg).
The lowest price for carrots was recorded in the “Sakhovat” market in Navoi, the “Central dehkan foodstuff market” in Termez, the “Dehkan market” in Gulistan, “Central dehkan market” in Fergana. The highest – in the “Temiryul dehkan market” in Samarkand.
Eggs range in price from 6,000 to 13,000 soums (per 10 pieces).
The lowest price was recorded in the “Siyob dehkan market”, “Temiryul dehkan market” and “Damarik dehkan market” in Samarkand. The highest price in the “Oloy dehkan market” in Tashkent.
Rice ranges in price from 4,000 to 18,000 soums (per kg).
The lowest price for rice is registered in the “Dehkan market” in Nukus, “Central dehkan foodstuff market” in Termez and “Dehkan market” in Gulistan (“Nukus” branded rice costs 4,000 soums). The highest – in the “Oloy dehkan market” and “Mirabad dehkan market” in Tashkent (“Laser” branded rice costs 18,000 soums).
Vegetable oil ranges in price from 9,000 to 14,000 soums (per liter).
The lowest price for vegetable oil was recorded in the “Yangi bozor dehkan market” and “Central dehkan market” in Andijan, “Siyob dehkan market”, “Temiryul dehkan market” and “Damarik dehkan market” in Samarkand, “Dehkan mrket” in Gulistan, “Farhod dehkan market” and “Kuylyuk dehkan market” in Tashkent (local cottonseed oil costs 9,000 soums). The highest price – in the “Specialized dehkan market” in Yangiyul and “Mirabad dehkan market” in Tashkent (sunflower oil costs 14,000 soums).
Sugar ranges in price from 5,500 to 6,700 soums (per kg).
The lowest price – at the “Oloy dehkan market”, “Farhod dehkan market”, “Mirabad dehkan market”, “Eski juva dehkan market” and “Kuylyuk dehkan market” in Tashkent (5,500 soums), the highest – at the “Dehkan market” in Nukus (6,700 soums).
