Former Turkuaz in Tashkent put up for sale  

The order of the Cabinet of Ministers on the effective use of vacant state properties in Tashkent, the establishment of their activities on the basis of attracting investment has been adopted.

According to the document, the proposals of the State Assets Management Agency, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance and the Tashkent city khokimiyat on the sale of the building and facilities of the shopping center, which belongs to the LLC “Toshkent savdo markazi” (former Turkuaz) and is located at 3a, Chorsu Square, Shakyhantakhur district, Tashkent, were approved in accordance with the established procedure.

It was noted that according to the report of the appraisal organization involved by the State Assets Management Agency, the object was valued at 303.5 billion soums, and this appraisal report was found to be valid based on the results of the examination.

The State Assets Management Agency will ensure the sale of the object at a starting price of 303.5 billion soums on the “E-ijro auksion” trading platform.

In this case, if the object is not sold within two months on the “E-ijro auksion” trading platform, its sale is carried out in the manner prescribed by the decision of the State Commission for tenders for the sale of state property. 

Control over the implementation of the order has been entrusted to Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov, Director of the State Assets Management Agency Sunnatillo Bekenov and Tashkent city khokim Jakhongir Artikhodjayev.
