Coronavirus cases reach 2,825 in Uzbekistan
23 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 2,825, the Ministry of Health reported.
“As of 16:00, May 19, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,825,” the ministry said in a statement.
All confirmed new cases have been identified among citizens who arrived from abroad – 18 came from St. Petersburg on a charter flight, and 5 are international truck drivers.
“So far, 2,338 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection, 13 patients died and the recovery rate is 82 percent,” the ministry said.
