Ministry of Preschool Education clarifies when kindergartens will resume their activities
The activities of kindergartens will be resumed as soon as the risk of infection with the coronavirus is completely eliminated, the Ministry of Preschool Education (MPE) said.
“The MPE informs you that by the decision of the Special Republican Commission for combating the coronavirus, despite the relaxation of quarantine measures from May 8, 2020 in certain regions of the country, for security purposes, a ban on the activities of educational organizations and training courses, including public, private, family kindergartens and nurseries on the basis of public-private partnership, continues to apply,” the report said.
It is noted that the continuation of these restrictive measures is aimed at protecting children from the risk of coronavirus infection.
“Mitigation of quarantine measures is carried out in stages, and the activities of preschool education institutions will be resumed as soon as the risk of infection with the disease is completely eliminated,” the MPE added.
The ministry will inform about the reopening date of all types of kindergartens as soon as the epidemiological situation in the country improves.
