The Ministry of Health reported that three more people in Khorezm and Surkhandarya have recovered from the coronavirus.
In Khorezm region, 2 people recovered. One of them was a 49-year-old man, who came from Russia on a charter flight and was quarantined. When the disease was diagnosed, he was hospitalized. The other was a 39-year-old man, who contracted the disease through contact with coronavirus patients.
The number of patients who have been cured in the province has now reached 230. Currently, 3 patients are being treated in Khorezm.
Moreover, the last patient, a 33-year-old man, recovered in the Surkhandarya region. He contracted the disease through contact with coronavirus patients.
Thus, 43 of the 44 patients registered in the region were cured, one of whom had previously died.
Now Surkhandarya region, along with Jizzakh, Kashkadarya and Fergana regions, has become a coronavirus-free zone.
