Uzbekistan’s gold export volume for Jan-April announced

In January-April 2020, Uzbekistan exported gold worth $1.55 billion, follows from the data of the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the increase compared to January-April 2019 was 26.5%. In the first four months of the current year, the share of gold in the structure of Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to 35.3%.
It should be noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has increased gold exports. It exceeded $823.9 million in 2015, $738.2 million in 2016, $1.6 billion in 2017, $2.91 billion in 2018 and $4.9 billion in 2019.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan’s gold exports remained unchanged.
