21 more people test positive for COVID-19 in Uzbekistan
Another 21 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 4,352, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
“As of 10:00 a.m., June 8, the number of infection cases stands at 4,352 (+21),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 7 new cases were detected in quarantine centers, 3 – in the Samarkand region, 5 – in the Navoi region and 6 – in the Tashkent region.
So far, 3,354 people have fully recovered from the disease, 17 people died.
Currently, 981 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
