Uzbekistan ranks 121 out of 200 countries in the COVID-19 security rating

COVID-19 regional safety assessment results have been announced, in which Uzbekistan is ranked 121st out of 200 countries.

The rating, compiled by the Deep Knowledge Group consortium, is based on 130 quality and quantity parameters and more than 11,400 data points, which take into account the effectiveness of quarantine measures introduced in countries, their monitoring, diagnosis, health system readiness and other factors.

A total of 200 countries and regions are included in the ranking.

The TOP-5 includes Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Japan. Austria, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea follow them, concluding the TOP-10 list.

The last places are occupied by Liberia, Afghanistan, Chad, Mali, Rwanda and South Sudan.

Uzbekistan ranks 10th in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and 121st in the overall ranking. Among neighboring countries: Kazakhstan ranks 71st, Kyrgyzstan – 108th, Tajikistan – 124th and Turkmenistan – 131st.
