According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 89 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 6,990.
As of 10:00 a.m., June 25, the number of infection cases stands at 6,990 (+89),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 40 new cases were detected in the quarantine center, 38 – in Tashkent, 7 – in the Tashkent region, 2 – in Jizzakh, one each in Andijan and Surkhandarya regions.
So far, 4,685 people have fully recovered from the disease, 19 people died.
Currently, 2,286 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
