According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 124 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 8,627.
As of 10:00 a.m., July 1, the number of infection cases stands at 8,627 (+124),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 85 new cases were recorded in the quarantine center, 2 - in the Tashkent region, 5 - in Bukhara, 7 - in Khorezm, 1 - in Karakalpakstan.
So far, 5,682 people have fully recovered from the disease, 26 people died.
Currently, 2,919 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
